The short version. VidSave has no accounts and no sign-in. What you save, what you browse and what you keep never leave your phone — we have no copy of any of it and no way to get one.
Two things do travel: a message you choose to send us, and the data Google's ad system collects, because the free version shows ads. Both are set out below.
All of it is written to VidSave's own storage on the device, or to your gallery. None of it is uploaded, backed up to us, or readable by us.
Settings → Clear browsing history removes every page in history. Uninstalling VidSave removes everything the app stored; files already saved to Movies/VidSave and Music/VidSave belong to your phone and stay until you delete them.
Settings → Send feedback sends what you write to us, here at this site. Nothing is sent until you press Send. We receive the kind of problem you picked, your message, any screenshots you attach (up to three), and your email address only if you give one so that we can reply. If you leave the "include device details" tick in place, it also carries your app version, Android version, phone model, WebView version and language, so a bug report can be acted on.
Screenshots are made smaller on your phone before they are sent, and the details a photo file carries with it, such as where it was taken, are removed. They are stored privately: only the VidSave team, signed in to our admin panel, can see them, and they are deleted together with the message.
To stop floods of messages we use your IP address when it arrives, and store only a one-way scrambled form of it that cannot be turned back into the address. If our server cannot be reached, the form offers to open your email app instead, addressed to assyaafi96@gmail.com.
We keep feedback for as long as it takes to answer it and fix what it describes, and no longer than two years. Ask us to delete yours and we will, within 30 days.
Once a day the app asks this site for a small settings file — how often ads may appear, download limits, the list of sites the adult filter hides, corrections to the browser's built-in ad list, and the oldest app version still supported. It is a plain file request with no identifier in it. Like any web request it reaches us with your IP address and the app version, which sit in ordinary server logs for a short time and are used to keep the service running, never to build a profile of you.
VidSave contains no analytics library and no crash reporter. We do not know what you searched for, which sites you opened, what you downloaded, or even how often you use the app.
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. To choose and measure an ad, Google's software collects from your device the advertising ID, device and app information, an approximate location worked out from your IP address, and whether you saw or tapped the ad. That data goes to Google, not to us; we see only counts of ads shown and money earned.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, VidSave asks for your choice before any personalised ad is requested, using Google's own consent form. You can reopen that form at any time from Settings → Ad choices and change your mind. On any phone you can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android's own settings, under Privacy → Ads.
Ads never appear over the browser while you are on a site, and none of them are shown inside the player.
VidSave's browser connects to a site the way any browser does, and a download comes straight from that site's servers to your phone. Nothing is routed through us, and we have no way to see or store it.
That also means the site you are visiting sees what it would normally see — your IP address, its own cookies, whatever it records about visitors — and its own privacy policy applies. VidSave will not save video from a service that protects it, and saving someone's work does not make it yours: keep to what you are allowed to keep.
VidSave never asks for access to all your files, and never asks for your location, camera, microphone or contacts. Files are written through Android's media store, which gives the app its own folders and nothing else.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our lawful basis is your consent for personalised ads, and our legitimate interest in answering feedback and keeping the app working for the little else described here. You can complain to your national data protection authority.
VidSave is not made for children and is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has sent us feedback, write to us and we will delete it.
The page you are reading sets no cookies and tracks nothing. Its typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so loading it tells Google your IP address, as it would on any site that uses them. The admin area behind "Admin sign in" is for the people who run VidSave and uses a session cookie to keep them signed in.
